Teniola Akpata, also known as Teni, a Nigerian musician, has won praise from social media users after a video of her performing at an event went viral.
Teni was seen walking approach the traditional monarchs with her entourage at the venue of the ceremony, which was hosted in Ondo State, in a video posted by veteran Journalist Dele Momodu.
Teni knelt to welcome everyone of the elders one by one, as per Yoruba custom, which drew a lot of attention online.
Many people praised Teni’s modesty, while others claimed she was a typical Yoruba girl who had a nice upbringing.
