The Premier League champions won all three points against the opponent with to goals from Grealish, Erling Haaland, and Phil Foden.

Grealish had a really fantastic game, Guardiola said when asked about him by BT Sport following the game.

“He was powerful, and getting there was a good goal. He is a man who never drops the ball. He will now join the national squad and, hopefully, return in good shape.

“I hope that every player returns to the team healthy, but it is crucial for them now that the World Cup is approaching. But let’s hope they return healthy and prepared for the derby.

Recall that Manchester City overcame Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium on Saturday, returning to winning ways in the English Premier League.

The Cityzens defeated the hosts with goals from Jack Grealish, Erling Haaland, and Phil Foden to earn a well-deserved victory. After the victory, City moved ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League standings.
