Seven players were selected for the Premier League Player of the Month award after putting up outstanding performances in January 2023.
Through the EA SPORTS website, supporters and football lovers have voted for their favorite players to win the Premier League Player of the Month title.
EA SPORTS Player of the Month for January went to Marcus Rashford, who has now received the honor twice this year.
Rashford kept up his stellar run by scoring in three of Manchester United’s four games last month.
In four league games this month, United earned seven of a possible twelve points, including a remarkable comeback victory over Manchester City at Old Trafford.
In that derby, as well as in the 3-0 victory over Bournemouth and the 3-2 loss at Arsenal, Rashford scored the game-winning goal. Marcus participated in our 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace as well.
In 31 appearances in all competitions this season, he has scored 18 goals, nine of which have come during our league campaign.
After netting a stunning long-range goal against Arsenal, the 25-year-old was nominated for the Budweiser Goal of the Month award for January. Later today, the winner will be made public.
Rashford has won the prize three times over his career, most recently in September 2022 and January 2019.
David Raya, Saka, Brennan Johnson, Riyad Mahrez, Solly March, and Burnan were also on the short list of seven candidates that led to his selection.
