As per reports from Torizone, Manchester United’s manager, Erik ten Hag, has acknowledged the likelihood of his team participating in the Europa League next season following their 1-1 draw with Burnley on Saturday.
Ten Hag admitted this during an interview with BBC Match of the Day after the match. The game saw Antony giving United the lead in the 79th minute, only for Zeki Amdouni to equalize from the penalty spot.
With this draw, Ten Hag’s team remains in sixth place with 54 points and just four fixtures left. They find themselves trailing behind Aston Villa, who currently hold the last Champions League spot, by 12 points.

When questioned about the prospects of Europa League qualification, Ten Hag responded frankly, saying, “That is the reality. It’s challenging to secure fourth place when you’re so far behind. We needed a win. In recent weeks, we’ve found ourselves in winning positions only to let them slip away. At this stage of the season, the gap is too significant.”
