Atiku stated that the president’s geopolitical zone is not a solution to the country’s challenges.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has the authority to establish its own rules and govern itself. “The Nigerian people have the right to choose who governs them,” he added.

Nigeria has never had a problem with where its president comes from. I can provide you examples, but it won’t solve the problem.

There is no such thing as a president from the south or a president from the north of the country. There is only one – a Nigerian president, elected by Nigerians and for Nigerians.

“When it comes to inclusivity, I’d want to see our party form a new national working committee with a significant number of adolescents and women.”

The NEC’s decision today will determine whether or not the PDP will be in the mansion in 2023. This party has encountered tremendous obstacles since its beginning, and it has persevered in the face of adversity to overcome those challenges and move forward.”
