Media reports suggest that Thomas Tuchel is considering a move to Manchester United, potentially replacing Erik ten Hag at Old Trafford.
Tuchel, who guided Bayern Munich to the Bundesliga title last season and achieved Champions League success with Chelsea, has announced his intention to leave Bayern at the end of the current campaign.
The former Borussia Dortmund manager has reportedly held initial discussions with Manchester United, expressing interest in the Premier League giants, as reported by Kicker (via Die Welt).

Similarly, Christian Falk, Head of Football at Bild/Sport Bild, has indicated that Tuchel is open to the idea of joining Manchester United. In a post on X, Falk stated, “Man Utd has now shown interest in Thomas Tuchel as well. Tuchel is looking for a new challenge in the summer and is keen on Manchester United.”
Tuchel, 50, is focused on the remaining games with Bayern, who have reached the Champions League semifinals despite losing out on the league title to Leverkusen.
If Tuchel were to join Manchester United, a club currently facing an uphill battle to qualify for European competition, it is unlikely he would participate in the Champions League in the following season.
Currently earning around £204,000 per week at Bayern, Tuchel is among the highest-paid coaches in football.
