Arijan’s ultimate dream was to become an actor, but he was apprehensive about expressing his desire to join his brother in rehearsals. He feared his brother would not allow him to participate. In 1992, he mustered the courage to ask a man to relay his intentions to his brother. Fortunately, his brother welcomed him into the acting realm, which marked the beginning of his acting career.

In 1995, Arijan established his own acting group but continued to collaborate with his brother. Initially, his parents disapproved of his aspirations to pursue acting. However, over time, they relented and allowed him to choose his own path.

Whenever Arijan embarked on a movie shoot, his mother would assist by cooking for the artists he invited to participate in the filming. This support from his mother filled him with joy and instilled in him a greater sense of hope for his acting career. It is often believed that when mothers wholeheartedly support their children’s endeavors, success is more likely to follow.

Arijan acquired the moniker “Arijan” while on a movie set. The director called him to play the role of a houseboy and mistakenly referred to him as Arijan. The name stuck, and people started addressing him by that name. Eventually, he decided to change it to Mr Portable.

He encountered a difficult situation when he was swindled by a friend living abroad. This friend persuaded Arijan to sell his cars and properties, promising to assist him in obtaining a form and joining him overseas. However, after two years of silence, Arijan reached out to the Nigerian public for help, explaining that he had been left with nothing and pleaded for assistance in rebuilding his life.
