Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, has identified Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane as the leading candidate to fill the void left by Mohamed Salah, as reported by the UK Mirror.

During the summer, Salah garnered significant attention from the Saudi Pro League, but Liverpool rebuffed all offers for the Egyptian star. Nevertheless, there is anticipation of a renewed, more substantial offer in the upcoming year, following Liverpool’s rejection of a £150 million bid from Al-Ittihad.

Klopp foresees Salah’s departure and has already set his sights on Sane as the successor. Liverpool is willing to surpass their own transfer record, currently standing at the £85 million spent on Darwin Nunez, to secure Sane’s services from Bayern Munich.
