Okechukwu Isiguzoro, the group’s Secretary-General, warned that another northern president will exacerbate the push for the Oduduwa Republic and Biafra nations.

Isiguzoro accused the northern governors of being proponents of Nigeria’s disintegration in a statement he signed.

โ€œAttempts to jettison the rotational presidency in 2023, and the North insisting on succeeding President Muhammadu Buhari, will be unfavorable and weaknesses towards sustaining the country’s unity and stability, as it will favor the declarations of Oduduwa and Biafra nations by 2024,โ€ the statement reads.

The Northern Governors’ miscalculation on 2023 and drifting on blind excitements of contesting the positions of the Southern Governors had branded them as proponents of Nigeria’s disintegration.โ€

If a Northerner succeeds President Buhari in 2023, he or she may not be able to supervise the country’s affairs because Nigeria may face violent challenges from secessionist groups with full support from ethnic groups as a result of a revolt against injustice against the South and the North’s excesses.

In the event of a plot against the 2023 Igbo presidency, Ndigbo may band together with IPOB to declare for Biafra restoration. Northern governors should apologize to Nigerians for their subversive and provocative responses to the 2023 Igbo presidency, or face the consequences of being unable to read the national mood, which favors the Igbo presidency.
