Popular Nigerian skit maker Apaokagi Adedoyin Maryam, better known by her stage as Taaooma, recently made a lot of people laugh with her most recent comedy sketch in which she makes fun of the Ilorin people.
Taaooma is undoubtedly one of Nigeria’s most inventive content producers; her most recent comedy video, which was posted on her verified Instagram profile today, October 26, 2023, had many people laughing so hard that it couldn’t be ignored.
In the video, Taaooma is seen sitting in her room in her regular attire when Mummy Quadri, an Ilorin mother dressed in a hijab, enters the room with her son Quadri.
Upon entering the room the Ilorin mother greeted Taaooma telling her that they came to see Daddy but they said he was not around.
Responding, skitmaker Taaoomma confirms that as she disclosed that her husband is not around as he has travelled.
The Ilorin mother (Mummy Quadri) however tells Taaooma that she came to see Daddy on his promise to “Sponshore” her son Quadri by paying his school fees.

For a few moment, Taaooma was lost with the word “Sphonsore” and by extension responded “Sponshore….No, it’s offshore, you meant sponsor?”
However, the Mummy Quadri comes with a change of mind as she tells Taaooma that her son will not be interested in school rather he wants him to be a footballer instead.
Mummy Quadri brought out the Ilorin in her as she averred that those footballers are making huge amount of money using Roanldo as an example.
She said that Ronaldo earns N600K a week. Reacting, Taaooma corrected her as she revealed Ronaldo earns $4miilion dollars every week.
Upon hearing this, Mummy Quadri said “Walahi he(Quadri) has to be a footballer, and in fact his name will be QR7.”
Taaooma used to opportunity to mock the Ilorin woman as she said that it’s not QR7 but QR code instead of her saying CR7.
However, Quadri while speaking shows the Ilorin boy in him as he said he doesn’t want to be a footballer, rather he would like to be in a place where a lot of money is kept.
He said “No mummy I don’t want to be a footballer, I want ot be in a place where a lot of money are kept.”
When he was asked to say the place, Quadri left many in a confused state as he stressed that he would like to be doing POS job instead of being a footballer.
