You may be familiar with the moniker “Sanyeri” if you appreciate Yoruba Nollywood movies. Olaniyi Mikail Afonja is a comedic actor and film producer better known by his stage name Sanyeri. Seeing Sanyeri in a movie is a tremendous treat for moviegoers.

Many people are unaware of the difficulties this talented comedy actor had to overcome in order to advance in his career. We’ll look at Sanyeri’s rise to prominence in this post.

After completing his secondary education, Sanyeri started his acting career. In his hometown, he started acting in plays in 1992.

Oluseyi Adeoye, the late coach, provided coaching for Sanyeri. Sanyeri travelled to numerous communities with his theatrical troupe to give performances.

Sanyeri made the decision to learn how to design shoes after learning that his acting career wasn’t paying him well. In search of a better life, he relocated to Lagos in 1996 with his friend Adekola Tijani, commonly known as “Kamilu Kompo.”

Sanyeri worked as a cobbler in Lagos state’s Idumota axis. To make ends meet, he would hit his wooden shoemaking box with materials advertising his services around the neighbourhood.

Sanyeri’s success in acting came as a result of his excellent talent, endurance, love for his profession, and funny roles in films. Despite these difficulties, he stood out among his peers.

Today, Sanyeri is not only a movie star but also a brand ambassador for major corporations. His wife and children live in Canada. When questioned why he had taken such actions,

Sanyeri stated that he had always desired the good things for his children and will not want them to suffer as he had.
