We want our money back chants were heard in the crowd when the crowd missed the start of the second half of the 0-0 game on Friday night, according to one spectator. NX Newcastle issued a statement on Twitter expressing staff disappointment with the technical issues.
The crowd can be heard yelling as the big TV screen switches between different channels before ultimately resting on the game, prompting huge shouts, in a video that 21-year-old Pearson posted to the platform and has now received more than 500,000 views.

The cost of admission was between £10 and £15, so it is understandable that people were disappointed about being unable to attend the game.
Staff at the venue are “working with the event promoter to determine precisely why the football screening was not delivered as planned,” according to the venue’s statement.
“NX would like to express its regret to all fans who had such a letdown. We would also like to point out that a promoter with a long history of producing sporting events in the city, not NX, advertised the event. We’ll let you know when we have more information on ticket refunds.
Despite admitting that he was “not entirely sure” of the cause of the issue, Mr. Pearson maintained that “the damage was already done” in response to NX’s statement.
He tweeted, “I’m so disappointed by my experience last night.
The TV “wasn’t on for long periods of time,” he continued.
Some people demanded refunds from the venue on Twitter.
