The decisive victory put them just one point behind Tottenham Hotspur, who are currently in fourth position, and the attacking maestro did his thing and delivered his fair share.

In the contest, Marcus Rashford not only scored the first goal of the evening but also assisted on the second, giving him a direct hand in two of his team’s three goals.

Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial’s goals in the first half separated the teams going into the break with the score at two goals each. Fred Rodriguez then sealed the victory in the final seconds of the second half to make the score three goals to nil.

With his lone goal of the game, Marcus Rashford has now scored ten (10) goals for Manchester United this season (21 games played), more than doubling his total from all of last season for the Red Devils (5 goals in 32 games played).

Then, as they continue their pursuit in the current campaign, he will be trying to maintain the momentum for his team in their following game.
