Reece James made a sarcastic comment on Twitter following the game. The Chelsea right-back posted a picture of Wilfried Zaha and himself along with the padlock emoji on his official Twitter account. The padlock emoji, of course, refers to how he had Zaha locked up on Saturday afternoon.

Xavi is pleased with how Barcelona has started the 2022–23 season after the Catalan team defeated Elche 3-0 on Saturday to record its fifth straight victory at home.

Barcelona initially struggled to break them down even after Elche was down to 10 men early on, and Xavi talked about this thereafter.

The coach said, “This was a vital win against a highly defensive formation, a 5-4-1.

“In the end, it was easier than we had anticipated it to be since it would have been more difficult against 11 men.
