Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese football star, has given an explanation for his decision to completely abandon Europe and join the Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr.
In the Middle Eastern nation, Ronaldo is expected to make a staggering £173 million per year, a record-breaking football salary that also signifies the end of his elite career.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner, who is currently the most well-known player to ever play in Asian football, said it was lucky for him to achieve all of his goals in European football and that it was the ideal time to talk about his experiences in Asia.

After joining the team, Ronaldo said in a statement
“I can’t wait to play in a brand-new football league in a new nation. In terms of both men’s and women’s football, the vision of what Al Nassr is doing and creating in Saudi Arabia is incredibly motivating.
We can see that Saudi Arabia is a nation with enormous football dreams and a lot of potential based on their recent World Cup performance.
“I am fortunate to have accomplished what I set out to accomplish in European football, and I feel that the time is perfect to discuss my experiences in Asia at this point. I can’t wait to join my new teammates and work toward the success of the team as a whole.
