Dovbyk has showcased an impressive performance for Girona in La Liga this season, contributing 11 goals and five assists in 17 games.

Although Dovbyk’s contract with the La Liga club runs until 2028, potentially making him a costly acquisition, Chelsea sees him as a more financially feasible option compared to Osimhen.

Given Chelsea’s ongoing struggles in finding the back of the net this season, Dovbyk could serve as a valuable addition to their attacking options.

In related news, Mauricio Pochettino’s team has also been linked with Brentford’s Ivan Toney.
