After speaking with Manchester United, Ronaldo reacted with a statement of his own, stating: “Following negotiations, we have mutually agreed to finish our contract early. “We are aware of how much Cristiano values the World Cup, where his attention has always been. He chose not to share his choice with me. This is a personal choice that affects him and his family.
