Arsenal cruised to a 5-0 triumph over Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon at the Emirates Stadium, putting an end to a four-game winless streak in all competitions.
The Gunners seized control early in the first half, with center-back Gabriel rising above the Palace defense to head the hosts into the lead. Gabriel added another goal before halftime, securing a two-goal advantage for Mikel Arteta’s side with another header at the far post.
In the straightforward second half, Leandro Trossard added a third for Arsenal in the 59th minute, while Gabriel Martinelli’s stoppage-time brace sealed a convincing victory for the Gunners after their brief hiatus.

The early kick-off on Saturday was crucial for Arsenal, coming off successive Premier League defeats. However, they wasted no time punishing Crystal Palace’s five-man defense. Ten minutes into the game, Declan Rice delivered a superb far-post corner from Arsenal’s left, and Gabriel outjumped Eagles defender Chris Richards to score with a header. Once again, a set piece played a decisive role for the north London team.

Trossard had an opportunity to put the game beyond doubt shortly after the break but failed to convert after a lovely cross from Gabriel Jesus inside the area.
However, the same combination led to Arsenal’s third goal before the hour mark, as Gabriel Jesus set up Trossard, who skillfully beat Nathaniel Clyne before slotting home.
Substitute Martinelli inflicted more damage late in the game, scoring a brace in stoppage time to take Arsenal’s total to five for the afternoon. Both of the winger’s goals were remarkably similar, calmly placing the ball beyond Henderson after being released down the left flank.
