In response to Toure’s prediction during an interview with Brila FM, Oshoala dismissed it, asserting that Nigeria possesses players like Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface who can lead the team to success in the tournament.

“Talk is cheap. When we get to the tournament, we will separate the boys from the men,” Oshoala stated. She emphasized the presence of formidable talents in the team, including the “almighty Osimhen,” recognized as the best player in Africa, and Boniface, who is excelling at the club level. According to Oshoala, the strength of the team lies not just in individual talent but in the collective capability of the squad.
