Paul Pogba, a new midfielder for Juventus, has said that he switched from Manchester United to the Old Lady since his time there didn’t go as planned.
Pogba claimed that he believed it was the appropriate time for him to return to Juventus.
In the summer transfer window, Juventus acquired the 29-year-old free agent from the Red Devils.
When Pogba left Juventus and moved to United in 2016, he shattered the record for the most expensive transfer with a €105 million agreement.

“I want to believe that returning to Juventus was a decision made from the bottom of my heart. Perhaps it was also a good idea to return. It is not a surprise why my last three seasons at Manchester [United] didn’t turn out the way I expected; injuries were also a factor.
“Juventus came from two years where they didn’t win the Scudetto,” he continued. For Juventus and myself, it was a worthwhile task, and perhaps now was the moment to band together and make an effort to reclaim our proper position.
“I know deep inside that this jersey is something really special. It brings out the best in me. With this team, we developed a positive history that I never forgot even after I departed. For me, returning here constantly serves as motivation to work even harder and inspire success. I’ve always known this is where I belong.
