The Super Cup may be updated, according to UEFA, the governing body of football in Europe.
The organization is reportedly considering proposals to replace the Super cup with a new four-team event in an effort to boost revenue, as per the Mail and Diario AS.
Four teams would compete in the competition, which would follow a structure identical to the current Spanish Supercup. The Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League, and Major League Soccer champions would be among the invited teams.

The new owners are quite concerned about N’golo Kante’s injury problems, but a final decision has not been made, and Kante may receive a better offer or become a free agency in the summer of 2019.
