Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo joined Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong and other clerics in Jos on Saturday to prophesy that the siege of banditry, insurgency, and abduction will be lifted soon.
In his presentation to the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), Plateau State Chapter’s annual thanksgiving service, Osinbajo made the prophecy.

“It is excellent to give thanks unto the Lord,” was the theme of the thanksgiving.
The vice-president urged Christians to pray for Nigeria at all times.
“The glory of the later temple will be greater than the former, according to God’s word.”
The Church of God is entering a season of greater glory, peace, and victory, and you, in Jesus’ name, are entering a season of elevation and victory.
“The Church of God is entering a new season; a new season of glory, a new season of victory; we have seen it; it is before us; and it shall be so in the name of Jesus.
“Let us say it three times: ‘the siege is over; the siege is over; the siege is over; in Jesus Mighty name, Amen,” implored the vice-president.
Gov. Lalong thanked Vice President Biden for attending the event in his goodwill message.
The governor prayed for Nigeria’s peace to be restored.
He prayed to God to hasten the end of the demonic forces’ siege on Nigeria.
Bishop Wale Oke, National President of the PFN, commended God for being merciful to Nigeria in his exhortation.
Giving thanks to God, he believes, is a wonderful thing.
“When we are in agony, we turn to God; prayer is the answer; we must continue to pray till we attain the Nigeria of our dreams.
I’d like to prophesy that the siege on Nigeria is gone, whether it’s the siege of banditry, abduction, Boko Haram, or any other,” he prayed.
Rev. Stephen Dangana, Chairman, Plateau Chapter, PFN, had earlier praised the vice-president for the importance and honor he placed on the occasion in his welcome address.
He stated that thankfulness should be given to God regardless of the country’s situation.
Prophet Isa El-Buba, Vice-President of the PFN’s North-Central Region, offered prayers and predicted a better future for Nigeria.
Song ministration, exhortation, thanksgiving, and special prayers were all part of the thanksgiving service.
