Zinedine Zidane, the former coach of Real Madrid, has expressed his eagerness to return to coaching. Zidane made this announcement during an event honoring his former Juventus coach, Marcello Lippi, where he emphasized his desire to be back on the training field.
While attending the function, Zidane mentioned that he would not hesitate to take on the managerial role for the Italian team if the opportunity presents itself. He stated, “One day coach in Italy? Why not? Anything can happen, but at the moment I am doing something else. I’m sure I’ll go back to the bench; I’d like to train again,” expressing his enthusiasm for a coaching comeback.
Reflecting on Lippi, Zidane praised his former coach, saying, “Marcello Lippi was the one who made me come to Juventus, the first one who believed in me and let me play. It was not easy for him; I came from France, everything was different, but Lippi made me become what I later became. As a player, I had great coaches like Lippi or Ancelotti, but each one has to follow his own path.”
