“Now I’m occupied in a different way,” he shared with Carre. “Occasionally, I yearn for the everyday hustle and bustle. Even though the daily grind as a coach is intense.
“I took a break which has extended into a significant hiatus. I do miss it occasionally.”

“For me, Marseille is not only the heart of football but also of sports in general. La Castellane? Many athletes have emerged from this neighborhood. That’s why I would like to see more Marseille players from these areas representing OM.”
Reflecting on the regret of never wearing the OM shirt, he expressed, “It unfolded that way, it wasn’t my decision, but Marseille and the club are forever in my heart. From the ages of 11 to 14, I was at the Vélodrome stadium. I would stand in the north stands and soak in the atmosphere. Regardless, that bond remains unbreakable.”
