Former Tottenham Hotspur player Darren Bent has asserted that Manchester United is too large a club for manager Erik ten Hag and has encouraged the Dutchman to step down from his position at Old Trafford.

The team’s elimination from the Champions League saw them finish at the bottom of Group A, accumulating four points from six games, with one win, one draw, and four losses in the group stage.

“He’s not up to the task; he should go.”

Continuing his assessment, he added,
