Omawumi clarified that she wasn’t the mother of the children in order to prevent upsetting her supporters.

Despite her affection for children, Omawumi acknowledged that she is not preparing to receive any.

“What is the meaning of my name? No be me born o. As much as I love them, I don close shop”.

In the comment section, many congratulated the singer on her newest bundle of joy.

Omawumi reinterated that the babies were for her friends.

However, media personality, Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi prayed for the mother of two to be blessed with twins.

“Your twins are still coming”.

Replying, Omawumi jokingly told her to stop it.

“Kindly stop it”.

It was recalls Omawumi had in an interview said being a baby mama was her choice before her husband decided to walk her down the aisle even though she did not know what influenced his decision.

“I was a baby mama for four years before baba Kamila decided to marry me, I don’t know why, maybe he thought about it.

“I was a baby mama for four years and I said I don’t want to marry until we are good and ready,” she said.

The artiste stressed that nobody has the right to question a woman’s decision whether to birth a child outside of marriage adding that the decision to have a child should be borne out of love.

Omawumi wedded her heartthrob, Tosin Yusuf, in a traditional ceremony at her hometown in Warri, Delta State.
