A young man who placed only 800 naira on a sports betting and won 38 million naira has drawn criticism for leaving to go to prayer as soon as the result of the game was known.

Before entering the mosque to worship, the young man was seen in a video posting online conducting ablution. He was led by admirers who sang his praises and gave him congratulations on his accomplishments.
