Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s appeal for a peace walk as part of measures to ensure harmony in the state has prompted a response from a Nigerian female activist.

On Tuesday, Sanwo-Olu said he would lead a peace walk in the state in December “to herald the land’s healing.”

Falz, Mr Macaroni, Seun Kuti, Dele Farotimi, Temitope Majekodunmi, Segun Awosanya (Segalink), Adedotun (Just Detoun), musician Seun Kuti, Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, and Commander of Rapid Response Squad, CSP Yinka Egbeyemi, among others, were among those invited.

In a post shared on the microblogging platform, Rinu said the Lagos Governor, Sanwo-Olu, will walk alone.

Rinu added that there would be no peace without justice as she urged Sanwo-Olu to do the necessary and stop performative actions.

She wrote: Mr Gov. You will walk alone. No Justice, no peace @jidesanwou. Do the necessary, stop performative actions!
