Toyin Abraham used her Instagram profile to pray and celebrate her birthday, as the death of her mother is one of the most difficult experiences one can have in life.
Nkechi Blessing’s mother passed away five days before her birthday, and she had prepared a big birthday surprise for her.
Toyin described her as a good mother to her children and everyone around her, expressing her love for her despite the impact her loss has had on those close to her.
She persuaded her friend and colleague, though, to remain strong and unaffected by the loss, assuring her that her mother was in a better place.
She wrote:
