Lateef Adedimeji showered him with praises for being a brother and friend. Because he did not give him a long time notice because he called him to his set.
He wrote “Tonight, I’m paying tribute to a living legend, a shining star in whom I’m well pleased, a good friend and a brother, the one and only Itele the Icon @iteledicon01
There are only few people I don’t need to give good notice before dragging them to the set, Itele is one of them. You came, you saw and you delivered like a star that you are, thank you my brother.
His role was one that needed the native dialect and lots of training, icon effortlessly delivered, Kesari became Salako on Lisabi set and he came through like he was made for it.
Like I’ve always said, this is your ARO to me, thanks for all you do and for standing by us , anytime you need me I’m a phone call away. Thank you brother, thank you my friend.
Have you seen Lisabi? What are your thoughts about the role of Salako? As played by Itele the Icon?

The way he does put all his energy in another person production like his is really mind blowing and outstanding. He acted with full passion without any signs of laziness.
