While Leverkusen will miss Boniface’s impressive contributions since his summer transfer, Alonso remains composed about the situation. Regarding Boniface’s potential absence, Alonso stated, “The tournament runs from January 13th to February 11th. We wait and see. Schick, aged 27, has been recovering from an injury and was absent from action for Die Werkself. However, he returned to training this week, providing an additional option for Leverkusen.
