Rain and thunderstorms have forced the postponement of the game, which was originally slated to begin at 11:45 a.m.

Thunderstorms made a lot of noise, forcing both teams to leave the field for the national anthems.

Recall that in the ongoing FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in India, the Flamingos defeated Chile on Monday.
The Nigerian team won 2-1 in Bhubaneswar, earning three points in the process.

With their most recent victory, the Flamingos have advanced to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup quarterfinals.

Blessing At the Kalinga Stadium, Nigeria won the game thanks to goals from Emmanuel and Bisola Mosaku, who both scored in the fourth and 88th minutes, respectively.

Despite Roverner Tali’s successful late penalty conversion, the Nigerian team advanced to the next round.

On Friday, the Flamingoes will play either Brazil or the United States in the quarterfinals.
