Recent reports indicate that Chelsea has shown interest in signing Paulo Dybala, following a request from manager Mauricio Pochettino to bolster the team with new additions for the upcoming season. The Argentine forward, currently playing for AS Roma, has caught Chelsea’s attention.

According to prominent Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla, Chelsea is also considering Juventus’ Dusan Vlahovic. While the player has expressed his liking for Chelsea, the negotiations are currently being handled by intermediaries. In the coming days, there may be potential contacts between the two clubs.

For Chelsea supporters, it is crucial to reinforce the squad this summer, especially after the departure of key players from the team. The potential signings of Dybala and Vlahovic have generated mixed opinions among the fans, and here is my perspective on the matter.

In my opinion, Paulo Dybala would be an ideal addition to Chelsea. Unlike Vlahovic, who is considered a traditional number 9, Chelsea has already secured the talented Nicholas Jackson, who I believe will be a sensational striker for the club due to his skill set. Therefore, it wouldn’t make sense to spend over €60m on acquiring another player in the same position.

Dybala, on the other hand, presents a versatile playing style and can contribute in various positions such as right wing, right midfield, attacking midfield, secondary striker, and even center forward. At 29 years old, the Argentine brings a wealth of experience along with his exceptional footballing abilities.

Furthermore, Dybala is said to have a release clause of £10m, which could be easily activated if he expresses interest in joining Chelsea. Securing his signature would undoubtedly be a major coup for the club.
