Whitemoney, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 6, has received mixed comments online after a video of him purchasing roasted yam during his homecoming in Enugu went viral.
On Friday, November 19, 2021, on his homecoming after the BBNaija show ended a few weeks earlier, Whitemeony was greeted with a resounding welcome in Enugu, in Southeast Nigeria.
After arriving, Whitemoney stopped by a local shop selling roasted yam to indulge himself to a local cuisine after a long time without one.

Whitemoney not only paid for the yam he had purchased, but he also gave the elderly woman a substantial sum of money.
This generated mixed reactions from netizens. Some likened him to Nigerian politicians who often display such acts during the election period, while others hailed him for being real and humble.
