In response to Mercy’s celebration, actress Anita Joseph detailed her experience scouting for votes for her favorite in the streets of Lagos, revealing that when she went to Computer Village to beg for votes, she was hurled a barrage of obscenities by people and bloggers.
She said on Instagram that when Mercy won two years ago, she couldn’t contain her delight, and that she was overwhelmed and ran out to scream for joy while shaking.
She expressed herself as follows:
All of my time for computer village searching for votes wasn’t simple; blogs ridiculed and bashed me, but when I love and Stan, no serpent can make me unstan.
