After leaving them, her sister’s boyfriend, according to Nkechi Blessing, began making multiple advances on her.

Nkechi Blessing expressed amazement, but recalled telling her sister that she was a virgin and suspected it was a coincidence.

In her words, “I had this sister while I was growing up, I think I was about 16 to 17, and I used to tell her I was still a virgin at the time, and she told me I was lying because I wasn’t a virgin.” At the time, I was known as Makosa, and I danced nonetheless.

“So she invited me out to meet her boyfriend on this particular day. I was fine with it until we arrived at the location and it seemed as if she wanted to set me up with her partner to see if I was still a virgin, and I was like, “What is going on?!?” And as a young girl, I was aware of what was going on, despite the fact that ‘mo ti ja’ does not imply that I am spoiled or that I have known men.

So I sat down, they brought me a drink, and I sipped regularly, while she went out and promised to return. Where are you going now that she’ll be back? Then the guy sat down opposite me, and my thoughts instantly returned to the fact that I had told her I was a virgin, to which she replied, “You wey don spoil, you wey be say if you dey dance you go dey trowey legs anyhow.”

Ohh, so this is going to be like, I was terrified at that point, but I had no choice but to act. I had no idea where the spirit or the power came from; I simply stood up and stated I was leaving; the guy grabbed me and said you’re not going anywhere; the next thing I said was, “uncle, you want to rape me?”
