In an interview with Seun Okinbaloye, Senator Ned Nwoko related how he first met Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and explained why, out of all the possibilities available to him at the time, he decided to go with the actress.
The Senator disclosed that before he married the Nollywood Actress, there was a lot of pressure from his family members, particularly his uncles who insisted that he should marry someone from his place.
“If you must hear this, I was under pressure from my family to marry from my place…You might even want to know that before her, my uncles had brought some locals girls but I said no they do not meet what I want.”

He added that there are certain attributes that he looks out for in a woman. He added that one of the most vital criterion is that the girl must be a virgin. Thus, he said one of the first questions he asked the Nollywood Actress was whether she was a virgin. The Senator said the actress responded affirmatively, thus, they proceeded with their relationship.
“Above all, I come from a royal family, we have our requirements and traditions. I cannot marry a woman who is not a virgin. I can’t. So, when I met Regina, I asked her immediately if she was and she said yes she was. I told her that is an important part of what must be done.” –he stated.
