How two well-known Nigerians helped Baba Suwe obtain medical treatment in the United States of America:

Yomi Fabiyi, a fellow actor, revealed on his verified social media channels in 2019 that Baba Suwe is extremely ill and his health is failing. Vice President Yemi Osinbajo responded to Yomi Fabiyi’s call for support from other Nigerians by donating a huge sum of one million naira.

Reverend Mother Esther Ajayi of the Love of Christ Generation Church gave ten million naira to Baba Suwe’s medical costs two years ago. According to Yomi Fabiyi, many other Nigerians also contributed their widow’s mite to the Nollywood legend.

Last year, the legendary actor, who was apparently suffering from Diabetes, was claimed to have died, but he quickly debunked the news, calling the event “sad and uncalled for.”

May Baba Suwe’s soul, who passed away yesterday, rest in perfect peace.
