During an interview with TVC News, Adebowale disclosed some facts of his father’s struggle.
You may have heard that Baba Suwe, a prominent comic performer, died lately after years of health issues. Many Nigerians have expressed gratitude to the late actor for bringing smiles to their cheeks for many years.
“He was a fantastic father, the finest in the world,” Adebowale said of his father. Due to the shock of his passing, I am unable to say anything. He was a nice guy, a clown, and a cheery fellow. He adored his children and never made fun of us. “I’m missing him.”
“We fought a lot,” he said, “but we always settled our differences a few minutes after our battles.” We both laughed later when I appealed to him by calling him ‘Adimeru.’ He would alternate between laughing and sobbing about his condition at times. At times like this, dad would tell me that things would be different if he were in better health. He used to think a lot, but I tried to comfort him that everything will work out. He’s taken a break since he’s been through a lot.”
