The incident where housemate Ike proceeded to scatter eventual winner Ilebaye’s garments around in an attempt to evoke a reaction out of her was one of the most talked about incidents from the recently finished Big Brother Naija All Stars season. It was the kind of incident that turned people against Ike and made them feel incredibly sad for Ilebaye. When Ilebaye witnessed this during the presentation, she was mainly silent and upset and didn’t say anything at the moment.

Ilebaye is now talking candidly about that incident and the talk she and Ike have been having since leaving the house in a recent interview with Chude. Ilebaye had the following to say on the matter as a whole.

During the interview, Ilebaye was asked “The whole bathroom thing with Ike pouring your clothes just felt a lot. How did that feel in the moment?” She responded:

ILEBAYE: I felt sad. I felt low. I felt like what did I do to deserve this? Like any human would literally be hurt. Even if I’ve hurt you, I’ve said something bad about you, you should have just come to me and told me Ilebaye, this is bad. You should have just done something that I would know yes, I’m wrong. But not throwing my clothes. I just felt like god, just open the ground, let me just enter inside. Cuz I was literally so so sad. My energy just went so low.

“How do you recover from moments like that in that house? How do you pull yourself up from such intense moments?”

ILEBAYE: I just go to bed, and sleep, and cry. I either go into the toilet and cry out my mind, or I go to bed, pray, cry, and sleep.

“So I’m sure there are some fans of you that if something good is coming to Ike for instance, they will block it.”

ILEBAYE: [Laughs]. My Baye tribe, we are not like that. But I and Ike, we are cool now. Once outside the house I talked to him, I asked him about it, and he apologized. I came out and he said “congratulations, I am so sorry for what happened in the house”. We even gist. If I see him, we just talk.
