Former criminal and Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, has disclosed that he has been considering suicide since social media activist Verydarkman (VDM) revealed his dark secret.

The allegations against Bobrisky that led to his detention by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in April 2024 are no longer news. He received a six-month prison sentence without being fined. He completed his sentences and was freed in August 2024.

On Tuesday September 24, Verydarkman alleged that the crossdresser was never in the prison, sharing a leaked voice recording which stated that Bobrisky bribed his way out by paying the EFCC officials to drop money laundering charge against him.

The voice recording stirred up the internet as it also exposed popular singer Falz and his father Femi Falana (SAN), who is a Human rights activist and lawyer, revealing that Bobrisky paid them N10 million to drop charges and put him into a VIP section in the prison.

Following voice recording, The EFCC invited Bobrisky and Verydarkman as they investigated the bribery case.

Although Bobrisky denied paying any EFCC illegally, he took to his Instagram page to drop the cryptic message, revealing that he does not need any sympathy from anyone.

The post reads, “I have never in my life thought about suicide in my life but now is coming to my head seeing what human being are doing to their fellow human just in d name you want to bring them down by force or because you don’t like them. I don’t need no sympathy from anyone. People i might have need sympathy from are my late parent. But who will fight for you? Friends? HAT ERS YOU WON.

A quick check on his social media pages showed that he has taken down all of his photos on Instagram.
