Celebrity barman Cubana Chiefpriest to react the arrest of his former boss, Obi Cubana, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has prompted

On Monday, November 1st, 2021, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission detained Obinna Iyiegbu, alias Obi Cubana, for money laundering.

The Anambra-born club owner was probed by EFCC operatives when he arrived at the commission’s offices in Jabi, Abuja, at midday on Monday.

Though details about the claims against the socialite were scarce at the time of publication, a source said his case included alleged money laundering and tax fraud.

Since then, several reactions have been trailing on arrest by many Nigerians and friends of the socialite.

In a post shared on Instagram, Cubana Chiefpriest said that what does not kill them makes them stronger, adding that the Igbos are used to being victimised by the government.
