Virgil van Dijk has disclosed his uncertainty regarding his future with Liverpool in the aftermath of Jurgen Klopp’s departure. Klopp announced on Friday that he would be stepping down as Liverpool manager at the conclusion of the 2023/24 season, having informed the club of his decision back in November.

He expressed curiosity about the direction the club would take but refrained from offering detailed insights, stating, “So the club has a big job on its hands, and I am very curious which direction that will go in. But when that will be announced, we will see our situation. I can’t say much about it.”
Despite the uncertainties, Van Dijk underlined his current focus on being part of Jurgen Klopp’s era, expressing his satisfaction about still being involved. Looking ahead, he mentioned, “Hopefully, we have the success that we all dream of and fight for each day, and, by then, there will probably be more clarification for what the club wants for the future, and then we will see.”
