The actor’s interview illuminated the emotional burden that his condition placed upon him, as he admitted to wrestling with emotions of anguish and despair.
“I shed tears on multiple occasions due to being bullied both at school and even within my home, all because I wasn’t growing at a normal rate.
Things became quite difficult, and there were instances where I contemplated putting an end to it all. Thankfully, I wasn’t raised in Lagos; otherwise, the Third Mainland Bridge wouldn’t have been too far [laughs],” he shared, underscoring the intensity of his emotional turmoil.
Nonetheless, amidst these challenges, Ikedieze conveyed his deep appreciation for his mother’s unwavering backing throughout these difficult moments. Her presence and encouragement played a crucial role in assisting him to navigate the obstacles posed by stunted growth.
Moreover, Ikedieze offered a heartening glimpse into his bond with fellow actor Osita Iheme, known as Pawpaw. Characterizing their connection as distinct, he noted, “From the moment I met Osita Iheme, also known as Pawpaw, there was an undeniable chemistry between us.”
