Adeoye Adewale, the renowned actor commonly known as Elesho, recently shared a story about an incident in the 1970s involving Peter Fatomilola.
In a video shared on Kunle Afod’s Instagram page, Elesho recounted an incident where his senior colleague punished him on a movie set.
He explained that during his younger years, he attended a rehearsal and unintentionally sneaked away from the set without realizing that Peter Fatomilola was observing him. The seasoned actor, who is often cast in the role of an herbalist, reprimanded him sternly.

Excerpts: You’ve been on stage for nearly 30 years; how did you get started and which film do you credit with catapulting you to fame?
I began my career as an actor in Ilorin, where we began by performing stage plays in schools. The producers, on the other hand, would always want to date the lovely ladies among us, (laughs), and it didn’t matter whether she was your girlfriend; they would still want to date her. After that, I was single, and my friend’s girlfriend was a victim. I recall going to the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) in Ilorin for a rehearsal; it is an experience I will never forget. I informed my producer that she was the girlfriend of one of my friends; however, I will not name the producer because we have since become excellent friends. He insisted on having my friend’s girlfriend, and when I declined, he blasted my behavior during the rehearsal.
