A short while ago, popular Nigerian songwriter and singer Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, also known as Blackface Naija, publicly criticized his younger colleague Asake on social media for stealing his song without his permission.
Blackface claimed in a tweet published on social media that Asake easily spent 165 thousand dollars to film the music video for his successful tune “Joha,” but he was unable to use 100 Naira to phone the song’s owner before releasing it.
He further stressed that he will soon be taking legal action against the YBNL Signee and he won’t feel sorry for him.
