According to reports, the British Police are looking into the death of the late Alanis Ogundipe, who killed herself after allegedly being blackmailed by her lover, Ryan Leggetts.
The revelation was made last Friday by Detective Inspector Jonny Dyer of the Great Manchester Police in answer to a question on the investigation’s status posed by PUNCH Metro.
According to Dyer, who is currently in charge of the case, the police were in contact with the family.

Leggets is accused of breaking into her phone, copying her documents, and threatening to make her personal information public before the crime occurred.
Oladapo Ogundipe, Alani’s father, who first voiced concerns about the conditions surrounding her daughter’s death, claimed that Leggetts went so far as to demand money from her.
“Ryan met my daughter in June 2022, and within a month of our relationship, he expressed his desire to marry her and brought her to his mother,” the father stated.
