Former Real Madrid and Liverpool striker Michael Owen has designated Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe as the most formidable footballer on the planet. Owen made this assertion following Mbappe’s impressive two-goal performance in PSG’s 2-1 victory against Real Sociedad in the UEFA Champions League second leg last-sixteen on Tuesday night.
Speaking about the French captain, Owen shared his thoughts with TNT Sports (via Euro Sport), stating, “To win a Champions League, you need some special players in your team. Paris Saint-Germain probably don’t have enough of them to win it this season, but if there is one man that could carry them to victory, it’s this guy. Probably the most dangerous player on the planet at the moment.”
Owen further emphasized Mbappe’s exceptional qualities, saying, “He has absolutely everything, pace, skills, he scores bundles of goals, and he can singlehandedly take a game away from the opposition.”
