The bus will travel 3600 kilometers roundtrip to and from Portugal. Only the players and staff will ride the armored bus, which is decorated in the Parisian club’s colors, from the airport to the hotel and then on to the stadium.

It will once again depart from Lisbon empty after completing its mission there. The trip is being justified on security grounds because the bus was built to withstand projectile strikes. But the journey once more draws attention to the club’s ecosystem.
