Taaooma’s latest comedy skit showcased her attention to detail as she perfectly illustrated the relationship between Alfas and their students in Ilorin, Kwara State. The skit started with Taaooma correcting two of her students, Yousuf and Abdullah, on their posture while reciting the Quran, highlighting her dedication to ensuring her students learn the proper way.
In the skit, Taaooma’s interaction with a student named Quareeb led to a hilarious exchange. Taaooma instructed Quareeb to recite the Qaida (Tira), a basic guide to learning how to read the Quran. However, Quareeb pronounced the words incorrectly, saying “Baa BII QUE” instead of “BAA BII BUU.”
Taaooma’s reaction to Quareeb’s mistake was priceless, as she appeared shocked and asked if the contents of the Qaida had been rewritten in another form. She also jokingly asked if the ongoing fast had taken over Quareeb’s ability to recite the Quran correctly.
Taaooma said; “It’s just 10:00a, and you are seeing baebecue in your book – tira, how many have you fasted.”
In an attempt to disclipine, Quareeb with a cane for repeating the same BAA BII QUE despite being taught before, Taaooma spotted Quareeb chains on his neck and by extension landed massive cane on him as he couldn’t believe a student with come to the mosque dripping so hard like that.
